As the customer of Rattan City, it is your responsibility to ensure that the furniture you have ordered will fit into your home. Rattan City will not be liable for any after-sale inconveniences out of our power.
It is important that you the customer of Rattan City carefully and correctly measure where any purchased furniture will be placed at your property. You must inform the team of Rattan City if there are limitations or restrictions to delivery access surrounding your perimeter. Rattan City will not be liable for any inconveniences caused to a delivery if you fail to inform of any restrictions or limitations.
Limiting and restricting factors include but not limited to tight corners, narrow staircases and doorways and/or any other access-related concerns. It is your responsibility as a customer of Rattan city to inform our team of any restrictions on the preferred contact method.

Delivery time estimates –
The delivery estimates quoted on Rattan City are not guaranteed but can be used as reasonable expectation on when you the customer of Rattan City shall receive your order. Our team will process and deliver any purchased goods on our site in the timeliest manner possible. Please note that delivery estimates differ according to the product range and delivery location and any restrictions and or limitations stated during the delivery process.
Orders of any goods purchased are sent out for delivery transaction process is complete, with a delivery time set according to the times mentioned on the listed items or our website. Our team will inform you the customer of Rattan City if there are any inconveniences to delivery should the need arise.
Delivery estimates and mentioned time slots are quoted for all standard mainland UK zones. Delivery to remote and or enclosed sectors where limited access rules apply may incur an additional delivery delay according to the conditions present this will, however, be addressed and you the user of Rattan City will be informed of any changes to delivery.

Delivery checks –
Our team at Rattan City have agreed with our supplier who has taken the responsibility of checking each item being delivered falls following what you the Customer of Rattan City have ordered. Each item sent out to the delivery site undergoes a specification check with the delivery team to ensure goods sold to you the customer of Rattan City meet the required specifications.
If you the customer of Rattan City are unhappy with the delivered items, feel free to contact our team on the preferred contact method if your choice (Stated on our website contact page)

Returns -
Delivered items that have incurred damage or have been assigned to the wrong address may accrue during the delivery process. Therefore our team will contact the supplier to ensure to resolve an issue you the customer or Rattan City may have.

For an address change, you must contact us before the item is shipped out. If not, you the customer of Rattan City will be liable to retrieve the items.
If a product arrives damaged, the customer is requested to present several photos that show the damage. These photos will be used by our Quality Assurance Team to improve our products and to quickly solve reoccurring issues.
All products we supply have a warranty of 2 years after delivery.
Once a return request has been accepted, we will process your refund as quickly as possible.
For security reasons, you will be refunded on the card or payment method that you used to place your order.

Terms & Conditions (FOR BEDS ONLY)

All our goods are bespoke and personalised for you and as such as exempt from the cooling off
period you usually get with ordering online. In the unlikely event you change your mind, please
notify us at the first instance by email quoting your order number and we will try our best to come
to an amenable resolution.
You will have 24 hours to make changes to your order, once placing an order with us. No changes
will be accepted after this. Any cancellations will be subject to the cancellation fee.
All products are lovingly handcrafted and made here in the United Kingdom. We spend hours
designing and making all the furniture bespoke for you. The lead time from order to delivery can
vary depending on the product requirements but we quote 2-4 weeks from order to receive your
wonderful masterpieces.

It is important that you check the dimensions will accommodate your property and access to the
destination room, as sizes can be altered prior to production. Please note there will be a general
tolerance of a few inches as the items are handmade. We can also split headboards if you are
wishing to have the size listed but are unsure of whether it will fit. This would fall under alterations
and it’s best to email us prior to ordering if this is required.
Once the item is manufactured, we will not be held responsible for incorrect measurements, if in
doubt go for the alteration.

Moreover, if the dimensions of the bed are not listed on the product listing, it is your responsibility
to either contact us via e-mail. All dimensions are approximate and may have a variance of up to 5%.

Damages/issues
If your bed has arrived damaged, please email us quoting the order reference number along with
photographs of the issue. It is imperative we get photos so we can ensure any damage in transit
does not reoccur.
We will seek to:
a) Replace the damaged part, if a part is damaged.
b) Replace the item, if the full item is not usable.
c) A collection of the faulty item and a full refund.
